Where Does Elizabeth Warren Stand on the Issues?


The following are a few of Elizabeth Warren's views on important issues. I will attempt to explain these, in layman's terms, as best I can so you, the reader, are able to understand what she stands for and the repercussions of her policies.

On the economy:
Ultra-Millionaire Tax on America’s 75,000 richest families to produce trillions.

So, Ms. Warren wants the taxpayer to believe that taxing the top 75k families more will produce trillions of dollars. How, exactly, does that work? Those top wage earners don't make that much. Is she going to take all their money from them and then some? If she wants to tax enough to make trillions of dollars in federal revenue, she will end up taxing everyone more and more. According to wsj.com the Treasury Dept. brought in $3.3T last year with spending at $4.2T.

According to the Tax Foundation (taxfoundation.org) the lowest percent paid was 1.5% for the lowest income earner and the top 1% paid 33.3% tax. Also, the income before taxes and after taxes (this is the really important part) is surprisingly unfair. The lowest quintile earners before taxes share of income is 3.7% but after taxes (you know, with all the refundable credits, AKA redistribution of wealth) is 7.3% while the 81st to 99th percentile's is 38.4% before and 35.1% after. The top 1%, 16.6% and 13.2%. Looks to me like the lowest percentile earners are getting their fair share while the top wage earners are paying for it. And Ms Warren wants to make that an even larger gap in the before and after taxes percentages.

You have to understand that those high wage earners and corporations are the ones that are paying the wages to the lower earners. Those corporations spend billions on expanding their businesses to create more jobs so more people are working and earning. I agree that corporate greed is out of hand but it isn't the businesses, themselves, that are greedy. It is the CEOs, Board members, higher management that are greedy. And let's not forget the shareholders that demand those businesses make more and more profit to give to them.

On education:
Canceling student loan debt for most college graduates, eliminating all tuition costs at public two- and four-year schools.

The entire cost of my broad debt cancellation plan and universal free college is more than covered by my Ultra-Millionaire Tax — a 2% annual tax on the 75,000 families with $50 million or more in wealth."

According to Americanprogress.org the federal student loan debt for the country is $1.5T with another $119B in private student loan debt. Ms Warren wants to have the Federal Government pay off that debt and then make college free? I don't think those 75K families have that much money to give away along with paying for all the other things she wants them to pay for. Once again, the taxes won't just be coming from the wealthy; she will raise taxes on every working family in the nation.

On energy and the environment:
Cutting carbon pollution roughly in half by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As the world’s largest historical carbon polluter, the United States has a special responsibility to lead the way.

Wow! Can you believe that? How is she going to cut carbon emissions to net-zero? Along with AOC and the Squat Squad she wants to do away with internal combustion engines. Are you ready to start walking everywhere? Are you ready to quit using your AC and electric heat? Are you ready to quit buying things at the store? To cut carbon emissions to net-zero that is what it would take. Why would you have to stop buying things? It takes an internal combustion engine to power that truck down the road to deliver your iPhone, Nike's, PlayStation, Starbucks, McDonald's, etc. Electricity is produced using coal. You won't be able to own a car.

USCUSA.org reports that the US is number 2 for greenhouse gas emissions with China as being number one with almost twice the emissions as the United States.

On gun regulation:
 "As president, I will immediately take executive action to rein in an out-of-control gun industry — and to hold both gun dealers and manufacturers accountable for the violence promoted by their products. I will break the NRA’s stranglehold on Congress by passing sweeping anti-corruption legislation and eliminating the filibuster so that our nation can no longer be held hostage by a small group of well-financed extremists who have already made it perfectly clear that they will never put the safety of the American people first.”

Let's see, if gun dealers and manufacturers are to be held responsible for gun violence shouldn't auto manufacturers and dealers be held responsible for car deaths; tool manufacturers and dealers for deaths due to someone using a hammer, crowbar, screwdriver, etc.; doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies held responsible for prescription drug deaths; and maybe the government for deaths during war?

As for the NRA – there has yet to be an NRA member that has committed a gun crime. All the NRA does is stand up for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Ms. Warren would love to disarm the people totally so that the government can take complete control over the people instead of the people controlling the government.

On healthcare:
"The Medicare for All Act of 2019 would ensure that Americans could get the care they need, when they need it, without going into debt. It would empower the federal government to negotiate prices with drug companies. And it would expand coverage to include home- and community-based long-term care services, ensuring people with disabilities can receive the care they need to stay in their homes and remain part of their communities."

Single-payer, government-controlled healthcare. That's worked so well for the vets in this country. It's also worked well in every country that uses it. People aren't rushing to Canada, the UK, Venezuela, or any other socialist country for their healthcare. They come to the US. Why? They come here because the United States has the best healthcare in the world. Is the system broken and extremely expensive? Of course, it is. Does it need to be fixed? Of course, it does. Does it take government policy to do it? Oh, HELL no! The government shouldn't be involved in anything more than protections for the country. If the US government was put in charge of the Sahara Desert within 10 years there would be a shortage of sand.

On immigration:
 "Decriminalize migration and refocus enforcement on serious criminal activity. Separate law enforcement from immigration enforcement to strengthen our communities. Remake CBP and ICE in a way that reflects our values. Create accountability for the abuse perpetrated during the Trump Era."

"End unnecessary detention. Eliminate private detention facilities. Expand the executive use of parole and invest in alternatives-to-detention."

"Establish professional, independent Article I immigration courts. Eliminate expedited removal and provide due process."

: "Reject exclusionary policies based on race, religion, and nationality. Raise the refugee cap. Affirm asylum protections."

Ok. I get it. The Democrats want to flood the country with illegals. They want to give citizenship to illegals without those individuals going through the same process as the legal immigrants have. They want to do away with ICE so that those illegals in the country don't have to worry about being deported. I get it. They want people that will vote Democrat.

There is nothing else to say about the Democrat's immigration policies. They want open borders, no American sovereignty, and the entire world to be able to come to the United States and have the American taxpayer pay for their healthcare, housing, food, and education.

On impeachment:
"Every member of Congress took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States — not to protect and defend Donald Trump. Every elected official should read the Mueller report. And once they do, they’ll see the facts are inescapable. The House should do its job and begin impeachment proceedings.

This is to the point of being laughable. The Mueller Report stated clearly that there was no collusion and no obstruction committed by Donald J Trump, his campaign, his family, or his administration.

What the Mueller Report did find is that the Clinton Campaign paid for an unverifiable dossier from a foreign spy that got it from a Russian.

The Obama DOJ lied to the FISA court to obtain warrants to spy on an opposing candidate. The FBI exonerated Hillary Clinton before she was even interviewed, for any wrongdoing by having an unsecured, private server with government emails that were hacked by the Chinese. Hillary Clinton obstructed justice by destroying over 30K emails that were subpoenaed by the Congress, then destroyed phones and computers using BleachBit and hammers and removing SIM cards.

Who all was involved in the Trump Spygate? When it all comes out in the IG report I believe the entire Obama Administration, FBI, DOJ, Clinton Campaign, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and even Barack Obama, himself, will be implicated.

If Congress was actually doing its job, it would stop investigating Trump over and over for trying to find a crime he committed and start doing something about illegal aliens, the economy, infrastructure, foreign policy, etc. If they were interested in equal justice and 'no one is above the law' they would be looking at several of their own members such as AOC, Ilan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Maxine Waters, and Frederica Wilson.

There is no equal justice in Congress. Democrats are above the law as has been proven by Hillary Clinton. There are several state officials that have been accused of some terrible crimes but aren't being prosecuted or even investigated. Brett Kavanaugh, on the other hand, is being humiliated by false accusations and Trump has been investigated since he was inaugurated for crimes he hasn't committed.

And the Democrats are demanding his impeachment. It is almost laughable.

So, these are the policies that Elizabeth Warren stands behind; the Green New Deal, open borders, disarming the American citizens, free everything for anyone, taxing the American people into poverty while paying for everyone else, and impeaching a President that has done nothing wrong. Yep! My kind of candidate. Especially since she claimed to be Native American just to get into Harvard and get her first job and then continued to claim minority status until Donald Trump called her out on it. She fits into the Democrat Party just fine.

When Did the Democrats Become so Anti-American?


When did the Democrat Party become so anti-American? A better question would be – why did they become so anti-American? If you are a Democrat you would disagree with me on this. The problem with that is all a person needs to do is listen to what each and every Democrat in Washington DC is saying. Listen to what the two dozen or so Presidential candidates are saying on the campaign trail. It is all about socialism, anti-Trump, doing away with the Bill of Rights (or at least some of them), more for illegals (to the point of making being an illegal alien legal), racism, sexism, anti-white and pro-black, gay, trans, immigrant, etc.


If this country was so racist and sexist then people like Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker, Maxine Waters, Ayanna Pressley, Colin Powell, Ben Carson, etc would not be in Congress or other government offices. In fact, according to the Democrats the Republicans are so racist that it's pathetic. Amazing since the 41st Congress had two House members and a Senate member that was black. These three were from Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi and all were Republican. The 42nd Congress (1871 to 1873) had five Black members, all Republican. The 43rd Congress had seven House members, all Republican. The 44th, eight; the 45th, four; the 46th, one; the 47th, two; 48th, two.... all Republican and all from the southern states. The first Democrat was in the 74th Congress (1937-39).

As for women in Congress, it was the 65th (1917) Congress before a woman was elected. And guess what? She was a Republican. It was another four years before another woman served, the 67th (1921-23) Congress had four women, one was a Democrat. Since that first Representative, Jeannette Rankin of Montana, served 365 women have served in Congress. As of the first of this year, there are 131 women serving. This and the information for blacks in Congress came from House.gov/history.

With this record it is obvious that America is racist and sexist. As of right now, the 116th Congress has 52 immigrants and children of immigrants serving in the House and 16 serving in the Senate of which 57 are Democrats and 10 are Republican. Bernie Sanders, the final one, is a self-proclaimed Democratic Socialist but a registered Independent. This is from the Pew Research Center.

Let' go with LGBT members. There have been three Senators, Democrats, that are openly gay or bisexual and 21 House members, of which seven are Republican. Currently, there are only ten members, all Democrats. I guess this means that the country isn't made up of a bunch of homophobes or xenophobes, either. Granted, the list of openly gay members was from Wikipedia which I don't usually use as a resource but it was the only page that would open on my phone.

Let's get into the freshman members of this Congress: AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley. These four, calling themselves “The Squad,” are very vocal about how bad the USA is. AOC being the most vocal. Not only is everything about this country racist, sexist, xenophobic, homophobic, and Nazi, they hate that our economy is capitalist, we want secure borders, we want the rule of law, and we don't want all the illegals to stay here. AOC is so vocal about it that she makes a fool of herself with all her falsehoods about what is happening with the illegals held in detention. Omar is spouting off embellished facts about our history to high school students to make the country look bad and Tlaib is demanding that we do away with the Bill of Rights. Pressley is just following along with her cohorts tirades no matter what they say. This is what America wants? This is what the Democrat Party is becoming?

Every day there are more and more incidents that make me wonder where these people are from. There are far too many things said, and done, by the Anti-American Party on a daily basis that it is hard to keep up with it all. There is nothing these people don't want to destroy when it comes to American morals and values. They want a socialist country. Period. They want total government control over every aspect of our lives. They want the American taxpayer to fund living expenses to illegals and the able-but-unwilling to work. They want white Americans to pay for the transgressions of our ancestors by way of reparations for slavery; by the way, those reparations are only to blacks, not the Irish or the Chinese whose ancestors were slaves. They want universal healthcare paid for by the taxpayer. College tuition paid for. Down payments for housing for poor blacks. What happened to being responsible for yourself? What happened to American pride? What happened to self-pride?

So, since the Democrats want to spew falsehoods out of their mouths constantly about how bad this country is, I would like to know when they became the Anti-American Party? Why are they so against everything American? I realize that their hatred for the current Commander-in-Chief is tantamount to GHW Bush's hatred for broccoli or WJ Clinton's love of sex but that shouldn't mean that they should do everything in their power against the people of the country. Especially since it is the people that have voted them in. At least I think the people voted them in. Maybe it wasn't the citizens of the country but the illegals, the dead, the double voting that got them all elected or re-elected. However, they got in there, or kept their seats, it is a shame that they don't represent the country, the flag, or their constituents.

What to Write

     What to write. What to write? What to write!
     There is so much going on in the world today that it is an overload of crap on one’s mind. Russian collusion; Syrian overthrow; North Korean nuclear warheads; terrorists attacks; government run healthcare; tax reform; government corruption at all levels from Federal all the way down to local; immigration problems; refugee problems; racial divide; party division; riots, shootings and other acts of domestic violence. All of these things are at the forefront of world news and there seems to be nothing that any country’s general population can do about it. The governments of the world seem to be in their own little clique and doing whatever it is they want regardless of what is best for their countries or the needs and wants of their constituents.
     There once was a time when freedom rang out through the hills and valleys of this once great nation. Indeed, throughout the lands on this continent and across the big pond on a tiny island and also on the grand continent. Yes, there has always been the tyrannical rule of communism in some countries such as China, the Soviet Union, Korea, etc. but those that are run by an iron fist are few and far between. Freedom, democracy and capitalism have been proven to be much more effective than government run industry and human rights being denied. The problem is this: those freedoms, that democracy and capitalism is being replaced by socialistic and politically correct policy in the bastion of freedom: the United States. Even Great Britain is becoming more and more politically correct and socialistic than ever before.
     This year, 2017, was the 241st anniversary of our freedom from Great Britain. 241 years since the Founding Fathers declared that we were a free nation, no longer under the auspices and control of a tyrannical rule from far away. 8,000 American soldiers died from wounds, 17,000 died from disease, 25,000 were estimated to have been wounded or maimed fighting for our freedom. In other words: 1 in 20 free white males in this country were killed or maimed fighting against tyranny. THAT is what made this country the greatest country in the world. Men that were willing to die to achieve something that had never been done before – win against the mightiest military in the world since the Roman Empire.
     Once we gained our freedom from King George, the Founding Fathers set up an experimental government where each and every man’s voice was heard. The Constitutional Republic was born, a Congress was established and a President was chosen. It took months for the 57 delegates from the 13 states to debate and set in stone the Law of the Land known as the United States Constitution. Laws that set up three branches of government that kept each branch from too much power. The Executive Branch, the President and Vice President, empowered to uphold the law. The Legislative Branch, the law makers. The Judicial Branch, to defend the law. The Electoral College was established to make sure that each state had equal say in the election of the President and Vice President. The Congress, set up of two houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives, filled with men elected by popular vote of each district; the Senate consisting of two men from each state to make it equal and the House filled by population of each district.
     Our new country now had a government, for and by the people. Freedom, human rights, prosperity were the norm, at least for white males. Throughout our short history, freedom has been given; not just to white males but to while women, blacks, Asians, immigrants, all who legally reside without our borders. Our new country became the greatest nation in the world. A country that led in technology, military might, human rights, freedom and democracy. We were the envy of the planet.
Over the years, that experimental government grew to understand that, through making laws that pertained only to the citizens of the country and not the law makers, our government changed into something that the Founding Fathers had debated fiercely against. The government has become all powerful and tyrannical. Laws are forced down the throats of the citizens depending on what government wants regardless of what the people want. In other words: where we once were a country with a government, we have become a government with a country. We are now no better than what our forefathers fought and died to be free from.
     “Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.”
     For those that don’t know, these words are from the Declaration of Independence. Funny how time changes things. There are those in this nation that would want government to be all powerful and to dictate our lives for us. There are those that would have us open our borders, thus losing our sovereignty, and to embezzle from the working class to give to all that come here, or are already here, that refuse to work to support themselves. There are those that take the words of the Constitution and bastardize them into something they are not. There are those that would take us back to a time when freedom was a dream, when being your own man was doing your best to keep your family from being slaughtered by a tyrannical government or some other enemy (i.e., in Colonial America it was the British, today it would be Radical Islamic Terrorists).
     When the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitution, thus setting in stone how our government worked, they decided that it needed more added to it. By adding amendments to that great document, laws became legal; certain things were cast in stone so as not to be changed. The first ten amendments were added before they left Independence Hall. These first ten amendments came to be known as The Bill of Rights. Giving us freedom of speech, the press, to practice any religion; freedom against illegal search and seizure or to testify against ourselves in a court of law; we have the right to keep and bear arms. These rights and freedoms were added for a reason. The Founding Fathers wanted to make sure that government would not, could not, become a tyrannical dominion over the people as King George and his British governors were over the colonies.
     Today, the liberal left would have us believe that the Constitution, along with the Bill of Rights, was a ‘living’ document meant to change with the political tide of the times. They would have us believe that the Founding Fathers did not understand that times would change and the laws set down by them would become outdated. Those far left liberals would like for us to believe that we no longer need the right to keep and bear arms to protect ourselves from any enemy, foreign or domestic. They would like for us to believe that the freedom of speech is only for those that are liberal and the freedom of religion is for any religion other than Christianity. They would want us to believe that to peaceably assemble is only for conservatives but the liberal left can commit crimes of destruction wantonly without recourse. They would have us believe that “provide for the common good” means to take from those that have and give to those that have not whether they deserve it or not.
     Franklin Delano Roosevelt set up the American welfare system as an insurance system to help those in need temporarily; until they were back on their feet. There are those in this country that have taken that as a challenge and made the welfare system their career, refusing to work because it is much easier to have the government pay for everything. Free money, free medical, dental, vision and food has become the American dream for people the world over. Refugees flock to our shores to take what our government doles out. The problem with that is that the liberal left believe this to be everyone’s right, whether they are citizens of this nation or not.
     The liberal left believe that the Constitutional rights given to all citizens of this country pertain to citizens of the world. They do not. The Constitution of the United States of America pertains ONLY to citizens, both natural and naturalized, of the United States and legal immigrants. Our Founding Fathers did not set up a global Constitution but a national one to protect OUR rights and freedoms. Only the left seem to think that this country is globally set. It is NOT our responsibility to provide for the world.
     Our country has become less great, less respected, because of liberalism and their political correctness. Michael Savage has said, over and over, “Liberalism is a mental illness.” I am beginning to truly believe that as time goes on and I see what the left is doing. John Kennedy would be ashamed of the Democratic Party for what they have become. I know I am. The liberal left is destroying our country by leaps and bounds with their socialistic policies and their desire for global settlement within our borders. We are a sovereign nation still but it is fast becoming a borderless wasteland for anyone that wants to enter and do as they please.
     We no longer can speak our minds or voice our opinions without being called racist, fascist, bigot, anti-this or that. We are forced to accept our enemies and can no longer claim national pride. Freedom of religion is only for Islam because ‘Congress shall make no law pertaining to religion or the free exercise thereof’ had come to mean that Christianity has no place anywhere on public property, government or schools. Being white is bad because of the atrocities of those from generations ago against minorities. Abnormal behaviour is forced down the throats of all people because the left is determined to destroy all morality and values in our country.
     The government does what it wants and no one will stand against it. Congress forces policy upon us that does not pertain to them (healthcare for the masses is not good enough for government, they have their own, all-encompassing healthcare paid for by the taxpayer). We are engaged in wars for the sake of government gains and no longer only for the safety of our nation. Our representatives are bought and paid for by big corporations and no longer represent the people that elected them to office. In fact, several of said representatives have become so powerful that their mental stability is in question but the people of their respective districts keep re-electing them.

     241 years ago a dream became a reality. It took thousands of lives to achieve. Now, 241 years later that dream is dead. Our freedoms, our rights, our very lives are at stake. Would this be anarchy? No. Would this be the call for revolution? No. Would this be treason? No. It is one man’s thoughts and observations. This is only my opinions on what has become of our nation. It could be the call to arms if I was a violent person. I am not. Violence is never the answer. But, when government usurps its’ powers and becomes a tyrannical dominion, it is time to rethink what we have become. It is time to think about what those thousands of men died for 241 years ago.

A Better Health Care System

Congress, that hallowed hall of officials duly elected by the citizens (and in some cases illegal aliens depending on which state you want to talk about), is supposed to represent the wishes of the people from whichever state they came from, has become an institution that represents itself. The House of Representatives and the Senate have become so engrossed in their own power that they seem to do what they want regardless of what the people of the nation want. They write and pass laws on a regular basis based on their own ideals; a lot of times only to increase their own wealth and power within the confines of the political arena.
As of the writing of this article, national healthcare is one of the biggest issues facing the nation, and the Congress. What was passed into law in 2010 was forced through without being read by any of the representatives being able to read it, being told they had to vote it through to find out what was in it. What was in it was a lot of mandates that have shown to be so unaffordable that insurance companies are dropping out of it faster than flies on Raid. The only people that have benefitted from the Affordable Care Act are those that are too poor to afford insurance but too rich to be on Medicaid; in other words, a small minority.
Now, with a Republican Congress that has promised to repeal and replace the ACA for eight years and a Republican in the White House, it seems that changing the government controlled healthcare system should be quite easy. Not so. It has come about that even within the Party there are disagreements as to just how to make a government controlled healthcare system work for everyone. All the while, the people of the nation are becoming increasingly anxious as to just what is going to happen with their healthcare.
For those that are buying individual, private policies, the premiums keep rising; for those on company policies, the premiums keep rising; for those on Medicaid, no worries and those on the ACA, well, they wonder if they will have health insurance. The American taxpayers, the citizens of this nation, are the ones that are worried. Congress, on the other hand, has no worries as they have the best health coverage in the nation totally paid for by the taxpayer.
With liberals and conservatives at each other’s throats arguing for and against the ACA and its failing, complex system, Representatives and Senators sit back and try to find some form of government controlled system that will reap the most money for them and still have people insured for health care. What I don’t understand is what the big deal is about this. I really think that, even though health care needed some restructuring before Mr. Obama decided to get government into the medical field, it wasn’t that bad. Premiums were affordable and the people could go where they wanted. Now, there are people that have no coverage because there are no insurance companies where they are that are willing to stay in the ‘exchanges’ set up by the ACA because they were losing too much money. After all, it is hard to make money when healthy, young people don’t buy into it and sick people are taking away from it. I, for one, would rather pay the ‘penalty’ for not having insurance that is about one quarter the cost of paying high premiums with high deductibles that I would never reach. In other words, I was paying for any health care I received out of pocket anyway.
One way to clear this problem up would be to force our elected officials to use whatever system they come up with just like everyone else. Either that, or get government out of the medical field altogether. Another way would be to regulate the big pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, doctors and insurance companies so that they don’t overcharge for medical services and medicines. Maybe if our elected officials would stop receiving big payoffs from the pharmaceutical companies it would help.
The United States of America is not a socialist country. This nation was not built on any form of socialistic ideology; therefore, it is the people’s responsibility to take care of themselves, not the government’s. Capitalism is what built this country with all its pros and cons. Self-reliance made this country great. Innovation cannot be controlled by government and a socialist government cannot be innovative.

It is time to rein in the abuse of power of a corrupt Congress. Term limits without the ‘retirement’ plan that pays them full salary for the rest of their lives, even after only one term. Time to take back our government and get rid of the corruption and abuse of power; OUR TIME IS NOW!
