Where Does Elizabeth Warren Stand on the Issues?

The following are a few of Elizabeth Warren's views on important issues. I will attempt to explain these, in layman's terms, as best I can so you, the reader, are able to understand what she stands for and the repercussions of her policies.

On the economy:

Ultra-Millionaire Tax on America’s 75,000 richest families to produce trillions.

So, Ms. Warren wants the taxpayer to believe that taxing the top 75k families more will produce trillions of dollars. How, exactly, does that work? Those top wage earners don't make that much. Is she going to take all their money from them and then some? If she wants to tax enough to make trillions of dollars in federal revenue, she will end up taxing everyone more and more. According to wsj.com the Treasury Dept. brought in $3.3T last year with spending at $4.2T.

According to the Tax Foundation (taxfoundation.org) the lowest percent paid was 1.5% for the lowest income earner and the top 1% paid 33.3% tax. Also, the income before taxes and after taxes (this is the really important part) is surprisingly unfair. The lowest quintile earners before taxes share of income is 3.7% but after taxes (you know, with all the refundable credits, AKA redistribution of wealth) is 7.3% while the 81^st to 99^th percentile's is 38.4% before and 35.1% after. The top 1%, 16.6% and 13.2%. Looks to me like the lowest percentile earners are getting their fair share while the top wage earners are paying for it. And Ms Warren wants to make that an even larger gap in the before and after taxes percentages.

You have to understand that those high wage earners and corporations are the ones that are paying the wages to the lower earners. Those corporations spend billions on expanding their businesses to create more jobs so more people are working and earning. I agree that corporate greed is out of hand but it isn't the businesses, themselves, that are greedy. It is the CEOs, Board members, higher management that are greedy. And let's not forget the shareholders that demand those businesses make more and more profit to give to them.

On education:

Canceling student loan debt for most college graduates, eliminating all tuition costs at public two- and four-year schools.

“The entire cost of my broad debt cancellation plan and universal free college is more than covered by my Ultra-Millionaire Tax — a 2% annual tax on the 75,000 families with $50 million or more in wealth."

According to Americanprogress.org the federal student loan debt for the country is $1.5T with another $119B in private student loan debt. Ms Warren wants to have the Federal Government pay off that debt and then make college free? I don't think those 75K families have that much money to give away along with paying for all the other things she wants them to pay for. Once again, the taxes won't just be coming from the wealthy; she will raise taxes on every working family in the nation.

On energy and the environment:

Cutting carbon pollution roughly in half by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. As the world’s largest historical carbon polluter, the United States has a special responsibility to lead the way.

Wow! Can you believe that? How is she going to cut carbon emissions to net-zero? Along with AOC and the Squat Squad she wants to do away with internal combustion engines. Are you ready to start walking everywhere? Are you ready to quit using your AC and electric heat? Are you ready to quit buying things at the store? To cut carbon emissions to net-zero that is what it would take. Why would you have to stop buying things? It takes an internal combustion engine to power that truck down the road to deliver your iPhone, Nike's, PlayStation, Starbucks, McDonald's, etc. Electricity is produced using coal. You won't be able to own a car.

USCUSA.org reports that the US is number 2 for greenhouse gas emissions with China as being number one with almost twice the emissions as the United States.

On gun regulation:

 "As president, I will immediately take executive action to rein in an out-of-control gun industry — and to hold both gun dealers and manufacturers accountable for the violence promoted by their products. I will break the NRA’s stranglehold on Congress by passing sweeping anti-corruption legislation and eliminating the filibuster so that our nation can no longer be held hostage by a small group of well-financed extremists who have already made it perfectly clear that they will never put the safety of the American people first.”

Let's see, if gun dealers and manufacturers are to be held responsible for gun violence shouldn't auto manufacturers and dealers be held responsible for car deaths; tool manufacturers and dealers for deaths due to someone using a hammer, crowbar, screwdriver, etc.; doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies held responsible for prescription drug deaths; and maybe the government for deaths during war?

As for the NRA – there has yet to be an NRA member that has committed a gun crime. All the NRA does is stand up for the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Ms. Warren would love to disarm the people totally so that the government can take complete control over the people instead of the people controlling the government.

On healthcare:

"The Medicare for All Act of 2019 would ensure that Americans could get the care they need, when they need it, without going into debt. It would empower the federal government to negotiate prices with drug companies. And it would expand coverage to include home- and community-based long-term care services, ensuring people with disabilities can receive the care they need to stay in their homes and remain part of their communities."

Single-payer, government-controlled healthcare. That's worked so well for the vets in this country. It's also worked well in every country that uses it. People aren't rushing to Canada, the UK, Venezuela, or any other socialist country for their healthcare. They come to the US. Why? They come here because the United States has the best healthcare in the world. Is the system broken and extremely expensive? Of course, it is. Does it need to be fixed? Of course, it does. Does it take government policy to do it? Oh, HELL no! The government shouldn't be involved in anything more than protections for the country. If the US government was put in charge of the Sahara Desert within 10 years there would be a shortage of sand.

On immigration:

 "Decriminalize migration and refocus enforcement on serious criminal activity. Separate law enforcement from immigration enforcement to strengthen our communities. Remake CBP and ICE in a way that reflects our values. Create accountability for the abuse perpetrated during the Trump Era."

"End unnecessary detention. Eliminate private detention facilities. Expand the executive use of parole and invest in alternatives-to-detention."

"Establish professional, independent Article I immigration courts. Eliminate expedited removal and provide due process."

: "Reject exclusionary policies based on race, religion, and nationality. Raise the refugee cap. Affirm asylum protections."

Ok. I get it. The Democrats want to flood the country with illegals. They want to give citizenship to illegals without those individuals going through the same process as the legal immigrants have. They want to do away with ICE so that those illegals in the country don't have to worry about being deported. I get it. They want people that will vote Democrat.

There is nothing else to say about the Democrat's immigration policies. They want open borders, no American sovereignty, and the entire world to be able to come to the United States and have the American taxpayer pay for their healthcare, housing, food, and education.

On impeachment:

"Every member of Congress took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States — not to protect and defend Donald Trump. Every elected official should read the Mueller report. And once they do, they’ll see the facts are inescapable. The House should do its job and begin impeachment proceedings.

This is to the point of being laughable. The Mueller Report stated clearly that there was no collusion and no obstruction committed by Donald J Trump, his campaign, his family, or his administration.

What the Mueller Report did find is that the Clinton Campaign paid for an unverifiable dossier from a foreign spy that got it from a Russian.

The Obama DOJ lied to the FISA court to obtain warrants to spy on an opposing candidate. The FBI exonerated Hillary Clinton before she was even interviewed, for any wrongdoing by having an unsecured, private server with government emails that were hacked by the Chinese. Hillary Clinton obstructed justice by destroying over 30K emails that were subpoenaed by the Congress, then destroyed phones and computers using BleachBit and hammers and removing SIM cards.

Who all was involved in the Trump Spygate? When it all comes out in the IG report I believe the entire Obama Administration, FBI, DOJ, Clinton Campaign, Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, and even Barack Obama, himself, will be implicated.

If Congress was actually doing its job, it would stop investigating Trump over and over for trying to find a crime he committed and start doing something about illegal aliens, the economy, infrastructure, foreign policy, etc. If they were interested in equal justice and 'no one is above the law' they would be looking at several of their own members such as AOC, Ilan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Maxine Waters, and Frederica Wilson.

There is no equal justice in Congress. Democrats are above the law as has been proven by Hillary Clinton. There are several state officials that have been accused of some terrible crimes but aren't being prosecuted or even investigated. Brett Kavanaugh, on the other hand, is being humiliated by false accusations and Trump has been investigated since he was inaugurated for crimes he hasn't committed.

And the Democrats are demanding his impeachment. It is almost laughable.

So, these are the policies that Elizabeth Warren stands behind; the Green New Deal, open borders, disarming the American citizens, free everything for anyone, taxing the American people into poverty while paying for everyone else, and impeaching a President that has done nothing wrong. Yep! My kind of candidate. Especially since she claimed to be Native American just to get into Harvard and get her first job and then continued to claim minority status until Donald Trump called her out on it. She fits into the Democrat Party just fine.

A Better Health Care System

Congress, that hallowed hall of officials duly elected by the citizens (and in some cases illegal aliens depending on which state you want to talk about), is supposed to represent the wishes of the people from whichever state they came from, has become an institution that represents itself. The House of Representatives and the Senate have become so engrossed in their own power that they seem to do what they want regardless of what the people of the nation want. They write and pass laws on a regular basis based on their own ideals; a lot of times only to increase their own wealth and power within the confines of the political arena.

As of the writing of this article, national healthcare is one of the biggest issues facing the nation, and the Congress. What was passed into law in 2010 was forced through without being read by any of the representatives being able to read it, being told they had to vote it through to find out what was in it. What was in it was a lot of mandates that have shown to be so unaffordable that insurance companies are dropping out of it faster than flies on Raid. The only people that have benefitted from the Affordable Care Act are those that are too poor to afford insurance but too rich to be on Medicaid; in other words, a small minority.

Now, with a Republican Congress that has promised to repeal and replace the ACA for eight years and a Republican in the White House, it seems that changing the government controlled healthcare system should be quite easy. Not so. It has come about that even within the Party there are disagreements as to just how to make a government controlled healthcare system work for everyone. All the while, the people of the nation are becoming increasingly anxious as to just what is going to happen with their healthcare.

For those that are buying individual, private policies, the premiums keep rising; for those on company policies, the premiums keep rising; for those on Medicaid, no worries and those on the ACA, well, they wonder if they will have health insurance. The American taxpayers, the citizens of this nation, are the ones that are worried. Congress, on the other hand, has no worries as they have the best health coverage in the nation totally paid for by the taxpayer.

With liberals and conservatives at each other’s throats arguing for and against the ACA and its failing, complex system, Representatives and Senators sit back and try to find some form of government controlled system that will reap the most money for them and still have people insured for health care. What I don’t understand is what the big deal is about this. I really think that, even though health care needed some restructuring before Mr. Obama decided to get government into the medical field, it wasn’t that bad. Premiums were affordable and the people could go where they wanted. Now, there are people that have no coverage because there are no insurance companies where they are that are willing to stay in the ‘exchanges’ set up by the ACA because they were losing too much money. After all, it is hard to make money when healthy, young people don’t buy into it and sick people are taking away from it. I, for one, would rather pay the ‘penalty’ for not having insurance that is about one quarter the cost of paying high premiums with high deductibles that I would never reach. In other words, I was paying for any health care I received out of pocket anyway.

One way to clear this problem up would be to force our elected officials to use whatever system they come up with just like everyone else. Either that, or get government out of the medical field altogether. Another way would be to regulate the big pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, doctors and insurance companies so that they don’t overcharge for medical services and medicines. Maybe if our elected officials would stop receiving big payoffs from the pharmaceutical companies it would help.

The United States of America is not a socialist country. This nation was not built on any form of socialistic ideology; therefore, it is the people’s responsibility to take care of themselves, not the government’s. Capitalism is what built this country with all its pros and cons. Self-reliance made this country great. Innovation cannot be controlled by government and a socialist government cannot be innovative.

It is time to rein in the abuse of power of a corrupt Congress. Term limits without the ‘retirement’ plan that pays them full salary for the rest of their lives, even after only one term. Time to take back our government and get rid of the corruption and abuse of power; OUR TIME IS NOW! 

Is It Really 'Fake News?'

Team Trump is constantly calling the mainstream media ‘fake news.’ Why? He calls it fake news because media outlets such as CNN, the Washington Post, MSNBC, etc., are so left leaning that they report rumor as news before fact checking. There have been several items that the media has reported as fact that, in time, has been proven to be false. To be honest, even Fox News is biased and has been known to report rumor as news that later was found to be false.

When I was a kid, way back in the Stone Age, news programs were on the television at 6:00 PM, ran for half an hour and reported local, national, and international news (news, not opinions, rumors or unsubstantiated reports), local weather and the sports. Newspapers reported local, national and international news articles without bias, weather, sports and the comics page; opinions were printed in the editorial column only and everyone knew those articles were opinion only.

When Watergate was being investigated and Nixon was undergoing impeachment, the TV stations carried the hearings so that the American public could witness democracy at its worst. An American president being thrown to the wolves for having his people break into the Watergate Hotel’s Democratic Convention headquarters. President Richard Millhouse Nixon had broken the law and was being punished for it. Senator Sam Erwin was the presiding chairman of the hearings and he, and the several other Congressmen on the committee, questioned the numerous people involved. Several of these people were sent to Federal Prison (affectionately called Club Fed). Nixon, in disgrace, resigned and handed over the nation to his Vice-President, Gerald R. Ford.

Flash forward to William Jefferson Clinton. A very charismatic President, he could talk an Eskimo into buying an ice machine for his igloo. The Republican Party investigated him for months and months because of rumors of illegality. What did they come up with? Those Republicans that just knew that the President had done something illegal because of Whitewater, came up with an intern that had been having sex with him in the Oval Office. President Clinton’s response to her allegations was, to say the least, ambiguous. When questioned by the Chairman whether he had had sex with Ms. Lewinsky, he simply said, “Could you define the word sex?”

Even though Clinton had been impeached, and found guilty of lying to the American people while under oath, he remained in office to finish out his term as the Commander-In-Chief; quite a difference in the course of a few years as to what was expected of the leader of the free world. One President impeached and resigned in disgrace and the next stayed in office and was not harmed at all politically.

Let’s flash forward a few more years to the Obama Administration. President Barack Hussein Obama, the first multi-racial president, was so vague about his history, his origins, that the American public wasn’t even sure if he was a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. He was the son of an American woman and Kenyan man. Purportedly born in Hawaii, he spent his early childhood in Africa, came to the United States as an early preteen, enrolled in college as a foreign student, associated with Muslim, anti-American people, became a community organizer in the city of Chicago, ran for Illinois State Senate and won, and before his first term was over, ran for President of the United States and won that coveted role.

During his campaign, he consistently spoke about ‘fundamentally’ changing the face of the nation. His speeches about hope and changed showed just how charismatic this man was. He won the hearts and souls of the majority of counties and states regardless of questions about his heritage. The liberal rhetoric that came out of his mouth scared the crap out of conservatives across the country but liberalism won out. Even his wife, Michelle, stated that she could ‘finally be proud of’ her country, even though her country had given her a college education and a legal career.

During the election, every black organization got involved. The Black Panthers were reportedly trolling the polls telling people that they had better ‘vote for the black man.’ This, of course, is only a rumor that I have not investigated too thoroughly. Through it all, it was intimated that if you didn’t vote for Obama, you were a racist; an epithet that was used over and over for the next eight years when it came to the policies and demands of President Barack Obama. The liberal left would say anyone was racist if they disagreed with anything the President said or if anyone questioned anything about him, especially his heritage which he never really successfully proved. (He did produce a certificate of live birth from the State of Hawaii but that state denied issuing it according to the report of Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona.)

During the Obama years, the President consistently used Executive Orders to legislate law, a job solely confined to the Congress. His policies were socialistic and, in some cases, so anti-American as to be unconstitutional. Also, during the eight years he was in office, Mr. Obama repeatedly turned his back on our allies while embracing our enemies. The Islamic threat, terrorism that has started on September 11, 2001 with the attack on the World Trade Center, increased exponentially, yet Mr. Obama would never utter the words ‘Radical Islamic Terrorists,’ nor would he concede that the threat was very real by constantly calling the terrorists the ‘JV Team.’ Mass killings, terrorist attacks, and violence by immigrants were seen as never before. Still, Barack Hussein Obama was loved by the media and the liberal left (as well as most Muslim countries and our enemies).

During the eight years that Obama was in office, respect for law enforcement declined to the point where people were attacking and killing officers of the law with impunity. Riots erupted over police shootings of black criminals under the guise of police brutality and racism against blacks. Were all the shootings called for or needed? No. Unfortunately there remain those that hate all that are not of the same color, creed, religion, sexual orientation or nation of origin. Racism, like schoolyard bullying, will never completely be done away with. Government cannot legislate against thought processes.

Was President Obama ever brought before an impeachment hearing? Were his actions ever questioned by the majority party? Not once. How far we have fallen from the days of yesteryear when the President of the United States was held to a higher standard and made to follow the laws of the country he leads. The left will still say that conservatives disliked him because he was black. That is so far from truth to be hilarious. Conservatives disliked his policies that were anti-American, they disliked the fact that he was legislating with Executive Orders thus circumventing Congress; they disliked his anti-American attitude. It had absolutely nothing to do with his skin color. Only the liberal left seem to have to play the race card every time they feel threatened.

Now, let’s come to the present, to the time of President Donald J. Trump. Here is a man that is not a politician in any respect. He is a businessman, a billionaire. During his campaign he promised a lot of things, the least of which was to ‘drain the swamp’ of corruption in Washington, DC. Since the election the liberal left has been screaming to impeach him, he is colluding with the Russians in hacking into the DNC computers, he is out to destroy America, he is going to undo the civil liberties of gays and blacks; his is an administration of destruction of all things liberal. The funny thing about this is that, since he was inaugurated into the position of President, he has fulfilled a lot of his campaign promises and he continues to strive to keep doing it.

What has Donald Trump promised? He has promised to secure our borders, even to the extent of building a border wall between the US and Mexico to help curtail illegal border crossing; he has promised to ‘drain the swamp’ of corruption in Washington DC; he has promised to repeal and replace the failing ObamaCare healthcare mandate; he’s promised to defund Planned Parenthood and their abortion clinics; he has promised to bring the UN under control. What irritates the liberal left so much is that he is actually doing his best to fulfill his campaign promises, something that no other presidential candidate has ever done.

What does all this have to do with ‘fake news?’ The fact that the media is crucifying the conservative right every way they can by reporting false news stories about collusion, corruption, and illegality in the Trump administration, even before it started but refuse to report the news about the liberal left’s illegalities and corruption. The First Amendment guarantees the right of freedom of the press, an essential element of keeping government honest, has turned into a free for all in the media and they hide behind that right to report falsehoods to undermine a presidential administration to the point of making it a mockery.

To be honest, Trump can make a fool of himself quite easily without the help of the media. He is not a politician so he doesn’t speak like one. He speaks like a businessman who expects things to go his way. This is not the way that politics works. In the political world there are committees, hearings, investigations, bureaucracy.  The President can’t just tell the board of directors what is going to happen and then, poof, it’s done. Mr. Trump will have to learn that if he wants to keep his chair in the Oval Office. He will have to learn some tact in his tirades. Then again, maybe the way he talks is just what is needed in the corrupt, career laded, halls of political Washington. Maybe that is what it will take to ‘drain the swamp.’ If only he could do as he did on his reality TV show, The Apprentice, when someone failed to be successful enough. Maybe he just has to say, “You’re fired.”

Let the left leaning media have that to run with. I can see the headlines now: President Trump tries to fire Congressmen; subtitle: Who does he think he is telling Congress they’re fired for being corrupt and not doing their jobs.

So much for one more tirade from a twisted mind. Food for thought or just another rant about politics? You decide. 

The Tyrannical Rule of the USSA

Way back in the Stone Age, somewhere in the early 1970s, America’s president was Richard Milhous Nixon. What a lot of today’s kids don’t realize is that Nixon was impeached, we watched the impeachment process every day for months on television, and resigned because of it. Why did the Congress impeach him? Because he was president and he ordered his minions to break into the Watergate Hotel complex where the Democratic National Convention was to find out what they were doing. To top it all off, he lied to the American public.

Fast forward now to the 90s and the Clinton Era. William Jefferson Clinton was also impeached. Why was he impeached? Once again a president of the United States got caught doing something he shouldn’t. This time it was sex in the Oval Office but that was not put before the Senate because of it. He lied to the American people. This time, however, the president did not resign nor was he removed from office as the Constitution dictates. He finished out his term as Commander in Chief and is now living large off the coffers of the US Treasury.

Fast forward again. This time to 2008 and a campaign that made history for this country; the first black person to run for the Big Office was nominated by the Democratic National Convention when Hillary Rodham Clinton conceded her run for the job. Wow! History in the works; here we have the first woman and the first black in the same race and the woman concedes, even though the two were equal in the polls. The funny thing about it is that we all knew Mrs. Clinton. After all, she was the wife of William Jefferson Clinton. What we didn’t know was who this black man was. Barack Hussein Obama, a first term US Senator from Illinois, a former Illinois State Senator and before that a community organizer (whatever that is).

Throughout the campaign Mr. Obama stated over and over his mantra of ‘hope and change.’ He promised he would change the very face of this nation; that he would bring in a new era for a nation in need of change. Over and over again he, and his wife, said that he would do for the people, help the down-trodden rise up and meet the over-bearing rich. He would fight for the poor and make the rich pay for their greed. He would end the war that no one wanted to be in. He was going to make it all equal.

The nation, or so we were led to believe, loved him almost as much as Austria loved Hitler when they voted him in as their ruler. Needless to say he won the election, albeit by a small margin. The thing about this man is that he would not produce a birth certificate stating he was a natural born American; the Constitution states that he has to be to become president. He refused and, even now his birth records are questionable. Mr. Obama’s parents are of two different national origins. His mother is an American and his father is, I believe, Kenyan. Where was this man born? He says in Hawaii but that state does not recognize the botched certificate of birth.

Since Mr. Obama was first inaugurated into office on January 21, 2009, he has done exactly what he said he was going to do. He has circumvented the Constitution by signing Executive Orders that allow him to do things without the consent of Congress. He has bullied his policies into law regardless of what the people of this country, and even the Congress at times, want. He has alienated our allies while embracing our enemies. He has effectively castrated our armed forces while arming our enemies and he has even openly gone against the Constitution numerous times by forcing his way upon the people of this nation with laws that are unconstitutional.

One of the worst things he has done since taking office was during his first term when he went on his ‘Apology Tour’ and told the world that America has been, is and always will be in the wrong. He bowed before a foreign leader, something that no other president, or foreign leader, has ever done. The Obama’s have downgraded and disrespected this nation and those that have fought 3 major wars, a police action, a conflict over 237 years and now three other wars at one time. They have basically proclaimed themselves King and Queen of the United States. They are the law and they are above that law.

Where once America was the White Knight of the world, the most powerful nation, the most respected nation, we are now so far in debt to other nations that our grandchildren’s grandchildren will be paying it; the world hates us because of our arrogance; we are so complacent that we won’t even try to rid ourselves of the pestilence of a tyrannical ruler. The Founding Fathers of this once great nation are rolling in their graves, the soldiers who fought and died to win, and keep, our freedoms are rolling in their graves and the patriotic citizens that back those soldiers, that lost sons, daughters and parents are doing the same.

To those that look down on us as a nation, please don’t hold the people of this nation responsible for the actions of the government. The government is acting against the will of the people that entrusted it to do what was right. We have become sheeple, weak and wretched. It is our responsibility to put people in control that will do our bidding, not the other way around. The Obama’s have entrenched themselves so deeply that we are finding it almost impossible to rid ourselves of the vermin that call themselves our representatives. Like Austria, there is the majority that wants to be controlled by a tyrant as long as that tyrant is giving them what they want. And, like Austria, that tyrant is finally pulling down the façade of decency and showing his true face; the face of a demon bent on the destruction of an entire nation.

The King's Conundrum

A conundrum, by definition is: A paradoxical, insoluble, or difficult problem; a dilemma. Looking at the present state of affairs of this nation, we are in a conundrum. Barack Hussein Obama and Joseph Biden, along with the Congress, would like to change our democracy into something akin to a dictatorship (as shown by the government’s intense desire to do away with our Constitution and the rights and privileges granted therein) while maintaining the appearance of a free nation. Since his election in 2008, Mr. Obama has fulfilled quite a few of his campaign promises, the biggest one being that he wanted to ‘change the face of this nation.’

Mr. Obama, in his run for office in 2008, made an estimated 506 campaign promises. According to Politifact (an entity that follows promises kept, broken, stalled or in the works), the president has kept 24% of those promises. Not bad for a president that promised bi-partisanship and delivered an even greater divide between the parties. So, how do I come up with my assessment that he fulfilled quite a few of those promises when Politifact does not? Let me explain.

Politifact follows those promises that were stated outright and in the open. Things like creating jobs (which he did while eliminating more than he created), helping the poor and needy, tax reform, immigration reform, strengthening national infrastructure and universal health care. On those type promises the president has not been so successful. What he HAS been successful on are the things that he hinted at or directly stated in speeches around the country that no one really listened to. Things like class warfare, doing away with the rights and freedoms of American citizens, allowing illegal immigrants into the country unabated and making America the ‘bad guy’ to the world.

I know that there are a lot of liberals that believe Mr. Obama is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Why do they think that way? I really don’t have an answer to that other than my opinion. I have asked, repeatedly, liberals to help me understand the way they think and I have received no answer. My opinion on this is: Liberals really like government control of their lives as long as the government gives them what they need and want. Let’s take welfare for an example. Franklin Delano Roosevelt created the welfare system to help America come out of the depression. He created jobs with things like the TVA and WPA. At the time, those programs helped the nation quite a bit. What has become of these programs?

Government assistance for a living has become a way of life for many, many people. There are families in this country that has lived on government handouts for generations. These people know how to ‘work the system’ and get all they need to live relatively well without working. These people will vote Democrat in every election simply because the Democratic Party, the liberals, gives people what they want without having to work for it. The Liberal Left is the “Gimme Party.” That is why I say that liberals like government control of their lives. They don’t care what rights and freedoms are taken from them as long as they don’t have to take responsibility for their own lives and welfare. (Note that this is only my opinion and not proven by any government or private research to my knowledge.)

Executive Order 13589 Promoting Efficient Spending is probably the biggest farce that Mr. Obama has signed. The Federal Government spends more money wastefully than can possibly be imagined. If any person, or private business, in this country spent money like the government does, said person, or business, would be bankrupt and destitute. This is not just Mr. Obama. The Federal Government has been spending more than it takes in for quite a while; just look at the National Debt owed to Japan and China. Those debts didn’t happen overnight, but Mr. Obama is continuing to raise the debt limit and borrowing money from foreign nations to give to foreign nations just for the sake of keeping up appearances.

Executive Order 13583 Developing an Integrated Strategic Counterterrorism Communications Initiative basically states that the Federal Government can intercept and read any communication that it believes pertains to terrorism against the United States. Granted, the Order does say communications sent abroad, but also indicates any communication that could possibly be directed toward, or about, al-Qaeda. This would indicate that the government is now monitoring all communications (emails, snail mails, phone calls, etc.) going beyond the borders of the U.S. and possibly those within the borders.

Executive Order 13576 Delivering an Efficient, Effective and Accountable Government states that the Federal Government has, is and will be as transparent as possible. This has NOT happened. The Federal Government under Mr. Obama has been the least transparent, efficient and effective in modern history.

The preceding Executive Orders were found on the White House website (www.whitehouse.gov) and are open to the public. The amazing thing about this is there are no Executive Orders listed for the month of January 2013 and only six for December of 2012. Mr. Obama did sign about 17 Executive Orders at the end of last year that effectively excluded Congress from a lot of his actions that the Constitution requires Congressional oversight. This is the transparency that Mr. Obama has stated, time and time again, that his administration is adhering to.

The latest indication of the nation losing its freedoms is the drone strikes against American citizens, so far just abroad, that are suspected of terrorism against the nation. Let it be known that there need not be any evidence to be suspected of terrorism. I realize that this goes against what the majority of the people think about our government. People want to believe that the government is fair and true and honest. This simply is not the case. The present administration is the most unfair, dishonest and least transparent of any previous administration.

We are not a free people anymore. Yes, we still have the right to free speech, as long as it is not anti-government (openly you can say what you want but if it is too far against the government you can, and probably will be accused of terrorism against the government). We still have the right to keep and bear arms (this is in the works to be done away with if the government has its way). We have the protection against illegal search and seizure (even though law enforcement will find some reason under ‘probable cause’ to search and detain you). We have the right to peaceably assemble (as long as it is in groups of three or less or there is a permit obtained). Do you see where this is leading? We are, but we are not a free nation.

The conundrum of a soft dictatorship trying to appear as a democratic republic is why I refer to Barack Hussein Obama as a king instead of a president. His theory is the same as Adolf Hitler; conquer slowly from within and the people will love you. It will be that way, the people of this nation giving him kudos and smiling at his policies, until the day the iron fist comes down and he shows his true colors. He has shown them, time and again, but the people of this nation have refused to see it because he is the modern-day savior of the people, just as Hitler was. The Austrians actually voted in Hitler to rule over them, he made sure of it. It wasn’t until five years after the fact that his true colors were shown and his true intentions shown; then it was too late.

Every day there is something new that comes up from the Obama regime that is anti-American. Most of these things are just a smokescreen for what is actually happening. The important things, like the drone strikes, are overlooked simply because the present administration knows that Americans believe in the Constitution and will fight to keep their rights. The argument over the Second Amendment is overshadowing the drone strikes ten to one. Why? Because all true American citizens will do whatever it takes to keep their rights and privileges that the Constitution has given them. These are the Conservative Right, the ones that will go to war against anyone that tries to take our freedoms away. Mr. Obama uses whatever he can to cause chaos, class warfare, dissension between parties and to cover-up what his true intentions are.

I, and a handful of other conservative believers have tried for years to enlighten the country with our insights and thoughts to no avail. Liberals believe what they are told without research into what is actually being done; they are the sheeple that keep these anti-American politicians, such as Nancy Pelosi, Chris Dodd and Harry Reid, in office. They are the ones that want the government entitlements so they don’t have to work to pay for what they need. Those are the ones that will allow the downfall of Free America. They believe that America needs to allow illegals into the country because they are downtrodden and without civil liberties and necessary entitlements. Those are the ones that believe America needs to support the world. Those are the ones that believe America is the only hope for this blue rock. Those are the ones that have no sense of self-responsibility, only government responsibility to the world.

I don’t dislike liberals, as much as it seems that way. After all, for an airplane to fly it takes a right wing AND a left wing, otherwise it won’t even get off the ground. For the same reason the Founding Fathers set up the three branches of government for checks and balances there are two ways of looking at everything, left and right. What has happened over the last fifty years is that the right has become more and more left and the left has gone too far left. What was considered a far-left wing liberal in 1960 (John F. Kennedy was considered one of those) is now a little bit to the right of what the conservative right is. As a nation, we are becoming more and more a socialist state and less of a democratic republic. Only by going back to the true conservative values of the late 18^th, early 19^th centuries can we get back to what we once were.

I realize that, to some, I am suggesting we regress into the past. That is NOT what I am for, nor do I adhere to that time period’s social structure. What I am suggesting is that, for our nation to get back to the greatness it once was, we need to get back to the morals and values of an earlier time instead of thinking that we are the only hope for mankind. We need to return to a semi-isolationist ideal and take care of our own problems before taking on anyone else’s. We need to feed OUR hungry, house OUR poor, educate OUR illiterate, rebuild OUR deteriorating roads and buildings, and put OUR citizens to work. We are too busy trying to feed, house, educate, rebuild and put to work the world that our own are, in some cases, worse off than a lot of Third World countries. The problem with that is the liberal left and the present administration don’t understand that; all they see is that we are responsible for the world’s ills and we are to take care of the world, and it’s killing us as a nation.

The King’s conundrum, keeping this nation appear free while taking everything that is America and giving it to the world and making America what the world wants it to be. We are a free nation. Our Founding Fathers started an experimental government that has worked, and worked well, for two hundred and thirty-seven years. That experiment is going awry now with a man that has no respect for what we are. King Obama believes that anti-colonialism is the key and America is the main villain and he is determined to make this nation pay for all the crimes and bad things in the world by making us his subjects. Even his wife, Queen Michelle, has indicated the same.

When Mr. Obama was first selected as the Democratic nominee for president in 2008 the, now, First Lady made this statement: “Finally I can be proud of my country.” What did she mean by that? FINALLY, she can be proud of her country? Her country that GAVE her an education, gave her the rights and freedoms that allow all of us to speak our minds, gave her the ability to get where she is at now and it was only when her husband, the first multi-racial candidate received the nomination and then became President that she could be proud of her country? She should have been proud all along, as well as Oprah Winfrey and Chris Rock and all the other black people that are now politically savvy when they once couldn’t care less.

I realize that now I seem the racist, which is so far from true. I don’t care whether a person is white, black, brown, olive, yellow, red, pink or polka-dotted, they are people. What I do care about is that when the first multi-racial person to gain the White House is the only reason that people of color get pride in their country and become political aficionados. Once again, the King’s Conundrum… how do we keep this country from being racist while making racial remarks and actions continually? The answer to that one is simple: blame the conservatives for what the liberals are doing. Once again, I am not a racist; I would have voted for Colin Powell in a heartbeat; before he turned to the liberal side (my opinion is because the King is black, before that he was a staunch Republican conservative).

Here is a piece of trivia that most people in this country don’t want to realize: All these immigrants, the Russians/Ukrainians, the Vietnamese, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Sudanese, etc., etc., etc. are being paid, by our tax dollars, to come here, take our jobs, receive free medical, dental, vision, food and rent plus a monthly stipend. Hard to believe that our government would pay people to come here to do all that, huh? Ask any honest immigrant if he/she gets a monthly check from the Federal Government. Oh, and most don’t pay taxes for seven years once they get here. Is that fiscally responsible and nationally secure? No wonder the King cares little about illegal immigration or legal immigration reform. Those are the ones that get the Liberals elected!

The King’s Conundrum… how to destroy a nation while maintaining the appearance of normalcy. Only time will tell how he gets it done. Until then, we political conservatives will continue to try to educate and enlighten those on the left that refuse to believe anything but what they are told. We will continue to fight against the enemies of the state and a tyrannical dominion. We believe in personal responsibility and working for what we get instead of huge government and their handouts for nothing. Once everyone is on the government handout wagon… who is going to pull it? Oh, I forgot, those rich people that the left is so against. The ones that have worked hard for what they have that don’t want to give it to those that want something for nothing. Most, not all but most, of the rich pay more in taxes than the rest of the people combined. It’s the ones that want the handouts that don’t pay a dime in taxes that are complaining about those with millions. Class warfare, a liberal staple.

If anyone can prove, I mean PROVE, me wrong, please do so. I want to believe in our country; I do in the conservative way. I want to believe in the rightness of people, but I don’t. I want to be proven wrong on so much but am proven right too often. So, Liberals, PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG. Give me facts and figures not just rhetorical bull. This is the King’s Conundrum.
